OnePlus 16 Flagship Leaks: 2nm Snapdragon, LPDDR6 RAM, 200MP Periscope Camera & 9000mAh Battery

The OnePlus 16 is shaping up to be a major flagship upgrade if current rumors prove accurate. The upcoming smartphone is expected to be powered by the next-generation 2nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset paired with the Adreno 850 GPU, LPDDR6 RAM, and UFS 5.0 storage. This would be a significant step forward from the OnePlus 15, which features the 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, LPDDR5X Ultra RAM, and UFS 4.1 storage. As a result, users can expect faster performance, improved AI capabilities, and better power efficiency. Based on OnePlus’ previous release schedule, the OnePlus 16 is expected to launch around October 2026.

On the display side, the OnePlus 16 is rumored to retain the premium 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED panel, while increasing the adaptive refresh rate range from 1-165Hz to 1-185Hz. Camera upgrades could be one of the biggest highlights this year.
