The OnePlus N6 (CPH2955) is the most affordable smartphone ever launched by OnePlus, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious buyers. The phone is set to go on sale in India from July 4 via Amazon, with a starting price of ₹22,999. While OnePlus has not yet announced an official launch date for Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and other GCC countries, the device is expected to arrive soon with a starting price below SAR 900. OnePlus N6 5G Features: Biggest Upgrades and Downgrades Compared to Nord CE6 Lite

The OnePlus N6 5G is now the most affordable smartphone in the OnePlus lineup, launching at a lower price than the recently introduced OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite 5G. To achieve this aggressive pricing, OnePlus has made a few compromises. The phone features a 6.8-inch HD+ (720p) IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1200 nits peak brightness, while the Nord CE6 Lite offers a sharper 6.72-inch Full HD+ display. If you were expecting an AMOLED panel, that’s no longer possible at this price point, as rising smartphone production costs have pushed manufacturers back toward LCD displays in the budget segment.

Performance is also positioned below the Nord CE6 Lite. The OnePlus N6 is powered by the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex chipset with OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16, offering 2 years of Android OS updates, 3 years of security updates, and a 5300mm² vapor chamber cooling system. In comparison, the Nord CE6 Lite uses the faster 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Apex processor and UFS 3.1 storage, whereas the N6 comes with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. Camera hardware remains largely unchanged with a 50MP rear camera and 8MP selfie camera, but video recording is limited to 1080p at 60fps, unlike the Nord CE6 Lite, which supports 4K recording.

Where the OnePlus N6 stands out is its battery life. It packs a massive 8000mAh battery, significantly larger than the 7000mAh battery found in the Nord CE6 Lite, while retaining 45W wired fast charging. It also supports 5W wired reverse charging, Bypass Charging, and is rated for 7 years of battery health, making it an excellent choice for users who prioritize long-lasting endurance. Additional features include IP65 splash and dust resistance, MIL-STD-810H military-grade shock resistance, and a range of AI tools such as AI Portrait Glow, AI Unblur, AI Reflection Eraser, AI Eraser, AI Perfect Shot, AI Recompose, AI Detail Boost, and Google Gemini. However, like the Nord CE6 Lite, it does not include NFC or an IR Blaster.
