Samsung has introduced the Galaxy M36 5G (SM-M366B), a value-for-money smartphone loaded with modern features, especially tailored for tech-savvy users. As part of Samsung’s budget lineup, the Samsung Galaxy M36 5G brings several premium functionalities down to an affordable price point. It supports Google’s Circle to Search, the smart Now Bar, and comes with Google Gemini AI built-in. Additional AI-powered tools such as AI Object Erase and AI Image Clipper enhance user creativity and editing capabilities on the go.

The device features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth visuals and vibrant colors. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+, offering durability against everyday wear and tear. Under the hood, the phone is powered by 5nm Exynos 1380 5G processor, delivering efficient performance and seamless multitasking. Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the triple rear camera setup, which includes a 50MP OIS main camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies and video calls, the 13MP front camera does the job well. Both front and rear cameras support 4K video recording, a rare feature in this segment.

However, the Galaxy M36 5G does come with a few compromises. The phone uses a plastic back and frame instead of glass, which might not feel as premium. It also features a waterdrop notch display instead of the modern punch-hole design, and Samsung has not specified any IP rating for water or dust resistance. Still, considering its price bracket and the rich set of features, these trade-offs are understandable and won’t be a dealbreaker for most buyers.
