Honor 500 Lite 5G is an upcoming budget 5G smartphone expected to launch around February–April 2026, based on Honor’s usual release pattern. The Honor 200 Lite and Honor 400 Lite both launched in April of their respective years and introduced Honor’s popular Magic Capsule feature, which is similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island. Fans loved this interactive display feature, and Honor is likely to continue it in the upcoming model. The Honor 400 Lite also added a dedicated AI camera button, so it’s reasonable to expect this feature to return on the Honor 500 Lite as well.
In terms of performance, the Honor 400 Lite used the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset, so the Honor 500 Lite may upgrade to a Dimensity 8000–series option, possibly the Dimensity 8350 Ultra. The rear camera is expected to remain at 108MP, while the front camera may return to a 50MP sensor like the Honor 200 Lite, offering a major improvement over the 16MP selfie camera on the Honor 400 Lite. Battery capacity is also likely to increase from 5330mAh to a larger 6500mAh unit. Since many budget phones now come with higher durability ratings, the Honor 500 Lite may even jump from IP65 to an IP69 rating, making it more resistant to dust and water.
