The Oppo Reno 16 5G has officially launched in India with a starting price of ₹61,999, and you can purchase it now through Amazon using the direct buying link provided on this page. While the phone has not yet launched in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, or other GCC countries, its regional release is expected soon. Oppo Reno 16 5G Global: Compact Design, Triple 50MP Cameras, and Smarter AI Features

The Oppo Reno 16 5G Global Version (Oppo CPH2865) brings a fresh approach to the upper mid-range segment with a more compact design than its predecessor. While the Oppo Reno 15 featured a larger 6.59-inch display, the new model adopts a 6.32-inch 1.5K LTPS AMOLED flat display, making it easier to use with one hand. Despite the smaller size, the screen remains impressive with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1 billion colors, 3600 nits peak brightness, and 3840Hz PWM dimming for a smooth and comfortable viewing experience. The phone also retains its premium build with a metal frame and tempered glass back panel.

Performance remains familiar, as the global version continues to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset found in the Reno 15. However, Oppo has focused on camera improvements this year. The biggest upgrade is the replacement of the previous 8MP ultrawide camera with a new 50MP ultrawide sensor, creating a powerful triple 50MP rear camera setup alongside the 50MP OIS main camera and 50MP OIS telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom and up to 120x digital zoom. The 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera also returns, and both front and rear cameras support 4K 60fps video recording.

Battery life receives a modest boost with a larger 6700mAh battery, up from 6500mAh on the Reno 15, while 80W SuperVOOC fast charging remains unchanged.
