The Realme 16 5G (RMX5171) comes with a large 7000mAh battery, similar to the Pro variants in the series. However, while the previous generation offered 80W fast charging, this model supports 60W fast charging, marking a slight downgrade in charging speed.
The display has also seen changes compared to its predecessor, the Realme 15 5G. The Realme 15 5G featured a 6.8-inch quad-curved display with 1280p resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and 6500 nits peak brightness. In contrast, the Realme 16 5G offers a smaller 6.57-inch flat AMOLED display with 1080p resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 4200 nits peak brightness.
Performance has been slightly reduced as well. The previous model was powered by the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7300+, whereas the new model features the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Turbo processor.
