Vivo V70 5G (Vivo V2538) has been officially launched in India and gulf countries, with a starting price of ₹45,999 or less than 2000 riyals. Alongside this model, Vivo V70 Elite 5G was also introduced, with both devices sharing a similar premium design and several key specifications, including display quality, camera setup, and battery capacity. While the Elite variant offers slight positioning differences, this article focuses on the standard Vivo V70 5G.

Compared to its predecessor, Vivo V60 5G, the new Vivo V70 5G brings noticeable refinements. The previous model featured a 6.77-inch quad-curved 1080p display with a 120Hz refresh rate. In contrast, the V70 comes with a more compact 6.59-inch LTPS AMOLED flat display offering a sharper 1.5K (1260p) resolution, the same smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and an impressive 5000 nits peak brightness. The flat panel design, combined with a sturdy metal frame and glass back, ensures a comfortable in-hand feel while maintaining a premium look.

Under the hood, the Vivo V70 5G continues with the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, similar to the V60, delivering reliable mid-premium performance for gaming and multitasking. However, one of the biggest upgrades comes in storage technology. While the V60 offered LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage, the V70 now features faster LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, significantly improving data transfer speeds and overall responsiveness. Additionally, the device upgrades from an optical in-display fingerprint sensor to a more advanced ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for improved accuracy and faster unlocking.

In terms of photography, Vivo continues its partnership with Zeiss, keeping the same high-resolution camera setup as the V60. The rear includes a 50MP Zeiss main camera with Sony LYT-700V sensor, a 50MP Zeiss telephoto camera with OIS powered by the Sony IMX882 sensor, and an 8MP Zeiss ultra-wide camera. On the front, users get a 50MP Zeiss selfie camera, making it ideal for high-quality selfies and video calls. The camera system remains one of the strongest highlights of the device.

Battery performance remains unchanged but powerful, with a massive 6500mAh battery supported by 90W fast charging. The device also retains IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance, along with SGS 5-Star drop resistance certification, ensuring durability. Furthermore, Vivo has added several new AI-powered features such as AI Magic Weather, AI Magic Landscape, AI Retouch, and more, enhancing the overall user experience with smart photography and system optimizations.
