Honor X9e 5G Expected to Launch Soon with 11,000mAh Battery, Extreme Durability, and Snapdragon 6 Gen 5

The upcoming Honor X9e 5G is expected to launch globally by the end of July or early August 2026. While Honor has not officially confirmed the device yet, early reports suggest that it could be based on the recently launched Honor X80 Pro Max in China. Honor’s X-series smartphones are well known for their durability-focused design, and the Honor X9e 5G is expected to continue that tradition with major upgrades over the current Honor X9d 5G. The device may feature industry-leading protection ratings including IP69K, IP69, IP68, and IP66 water and dust resistance, offering protection in water up to 10 meters deep. It is also expected to survive drops from up to 3 meters and operate in extreme temperatures ranging from -30°C to 85°C, making it one of the toughest smartphones in its segment.

One of the biggest highlights of the Honor X9e 5G could be its massive 11,000mAh battery, a significant upgrade from the 8,300mAh battery found on the Honor X9d 5G. The battery is expected to support 90W wired fast charging and 27W wired reverse charging while maintaining an impressively slim 8.8mm profile and a weight of just 203 grams. Honor may also provide up to 6 years of battery health retention, making the device an attractive choice for users seeking long-term reliability. For photography, while the Chinese Honor X80 Pro Max features a 50MP rear camera and 8MP selfie camera, the global Honor X9e 5G is expected to offer a higher-resolution setup, possibly featuring a 108MP or better primary camera along with a 16MP or 32MP front camera, continuing the camera-focused approach seen in previous Honor X9 models.
